Hardware/Software requirements
To work comfortably, you should use a PIII type processor having access to at least 128MB of RAM.
Lux-Log has been designed running MS-Windows NT v5.2. There may be problems with flavours of Win9x/ME/NT4 since the compiler is no longer certified for these operating systems.
In order to run, several MB of files have to be installed. There are only two large files (LUX_LOG.DB/CONTEST.DB) which hold all the necessary data. Loosing these files results in loosing all your data! So, back-up these files frequently.
Personalized Version
Even though Lux-Log is Freeware, you may apply for registration. This means that you receive an extra file which removes the UNKNOWN user. Then, your name and call-sign will show up in the startup-logo, about-logo and hardcopy.
The registration file should not be understood as a key to make all features of LL available to you. It allows to display your call-sign at some places within the application.
To simplify the registration process and to get the appropriate information I need, fill-in this form and, please, read the instructions !
